Internal diseases is the most comprehensive discipline which constitutes a basis for all clinical departments. It is the department where both in-patient and out-patient treatments and examinations of our patients, which are from a large scale such as: upper and lower respiratory tract disease, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, kidney diseases, thyroid diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, diabetes and obesity, are implemented and the treatments of the patients are organized by diagnosis and the patients are informed about the diseases and the precautions and the patients are transferred in the necessary conditions .
The department deals with early and final diagnosis of diseases through detailed physical examination, necessary up-to-date modern investigations, laboratory tests (blood, urine, feces, etc.), radiology studies (X-Ray, ultrasound, mammography, computerized tomography, MRI, bone density, etc.), endoscopic tests (upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.), whenever required, ECG and echocardiography.
